At the launching of the Sol et Terre brand held at ICE BSD Hall 12, Chelsea Islan collaborated with jewelry designer Veronica Pranata. Unlike ordinary jewelry, Sol et Terre is a brand that uses lab grown diamonds to realize environmental preservation on earth.

Through the Money Buzz program on Liputan 6's live streaming, Chelsea Islan revealed that she, as a co-founder of Sol et Terre, feels that this is a new breakthrough for the younger generation. Chelsea Islan chooses to use lab grown diamond because the SDG Mover from UNDP Indonesia reveals that there are already many diamond mines that destroy the environment and even employ underage children. Therefore, Chelsea believes that the production of lab grown diamond not only has a positive impact on the environment, but also on human welfare.

Sol et Terre jewelry products use 18 karat gold of international quality and diamonds that have been certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the International Gemological Institute (IGI). Through her jewelry business, Chelsea hopes that Sol et Terre can create a better way to ensure that every piece of jewelry is not only captivating but also uplifts the community and environment from which the jewelry originates.

2. Collaborating with NGOs

In the process of making environmentally friendly jewelry, Sol et Terre collaborates with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). There are 3 organizations, namely PLAN Indonesia, Wahana Visi Indonesia, and Jakarta Animal Aid Network.

With the help of these organizations, Chelsea Islan's brand not only can run a jewelry business, but also can make a significant contribution to society and the environment. Chelsea Islan revealed that with every jewelry purchase, a donation will be given to the NGO chosen directly by the customer. Customers can choose 1 out of the 3 NGO organizations to donate to.
