Dialysis is therapy, medicine for chronic kidney disease, a lifesaver," said Chika Jessica as reported by Detik on Monday (11/11).
"In 2022, we went to the hospital and my mom was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure at 5 percent, we were shocked. It definitely affected our mental state. I, who am healthy, was shocked. Especially her who is experiencing it. Forget about filming for now," said Chika.
"I am scared because dialysis is painful. I often tell the nurse not to hurt, okay Nurse," said Chika.
"At first, the first year I had dialysis once a week. Now it's twice a week. If I'm really down, it can be three times a week," she continued.
Chika revealed that she is willing to lose many job offers to maintain her health and accompany her mother during the treatment process.
Chika's mother's health condition is deteriorating after losing one of her kidneys, making dialysis treatment very important. Chika emphasizes how crucial it is for her to be by her mother's side during these difficult times, even if it means reducing her shooting activities that have been her source of livelihood.
