"We met in 2010, so it's been 14 years, we dated for a year and then got married, so it's actually been 12 years," Ashanty said in the YouTube show Obrolan Tiap Waktu, which was aired on Monday (11/11).
"I am grateful to have a husband who, behind our 12 years (of marriage), there have been ups and downs, because in a household, not everything can be beautiful, but many people don't know that Mas Anang is the most obedient to his wife," Ashanty said.
Ashanty mentioned how Anang can be very emotional and sometimes reactive in certain situations, which is contrary to his image as a stable and calm figure.
"He wants whatever his wife wants, sometimes there are negatives, so if he meets, for example, a wife who is demanding, whatever I want, that will definitely be his number one priority, and sometimes that's not good, but I find, 'You can't always be like that'," said the 41-year-old singer.
Ashanty recounted that her husband has a firm side that sometimes must be followed by Ashanty. This mother of two was surprised by Anang's raised voice, making Ashanty think that Anang was angry.
"Yes, that is the tone of voice, not a characteristic, so it's not something that should be a problem," concluded Ashanty.
