Regarding defamation, it's clear that my face is there, then there's another event on Kopi Viral, and even my WhatsApp name is named as the enemy, so what more do you want?" said Laura Aprilya, when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (27/8) evening.

"The fact is, no one believed it yesterday, many netizens attacked even our official account, so we finally closed the comments. Because there's no point in arguing, because too many people believe that Shandy Aulia posted it because of the actions of our client," added Rinto Maha, Laura's legal representative.

Regarding Shandy Aulia's report about her client who bullied someone, Rinto Maha speaks up. According to him, the incident described by Shandy is not in line with the facts on the ground.

Rinto Maha also explains about the word 'monkey' used by the artist that made Shandy Aulia angry. According to him, his client had no intention of attacking Shandy's daughter, Claire, like that.

"I would also be angry if my child was bullied, that's natural. But the question is, is that really what happened? Apparently not," said Rinto Maha.

"Indeed, my client made comments on her IG, but that is not a crime, and saying 'monkey' and 'can climb' is also not a crime. If it's said that monkeys can swim, it's still a question mark, but if it's said that they can climb, the answer is definitely true. It doesn't mean that it's saying Shandy's child is a monkey," he concluded.
