At that time, Nabiel mentioned that Yunita had complained and was reluctant to go to the hospital. He said that his mother eventually agreed after being persuaded by the family. Here are the details.
“So, mom yesterday complained of shortness of breath, initially didn’t want to be taken to the emergency room, but after being persuaded and her breathing was heard making a sound, she finally agreed to go to the hospital," said Nabiel to reporters on Monday (14/7/2025).
According to Nabiel, at that time his mother was taken to the Police Hospital for the first time. However, the crowded emergency room made the family consider other options.
"Mama was taken to the Police Hospital, but when we arrived there the emergency room was full and there were no empty beds," Nabiel revealed.
Due to the situation, the family finally decided to take Yunita to Hermina Hospital in Depok. Unfortunately, the condition of the mother became even more concerning.
"At that time, mama was thought to be sleeping with my brother, so she was taken to Hermina Hospital in Depok. When we got there, mama was just about to be woken up by my brother, but when he touched her, her body was already cold and somewhat stiff," Nabiel recounted.
Nabiel suspects that his mother passed away on the way to the hospital. He explained that everything happened so quickly. "So there's a possibility that mom didn't have time on the way," added Nabiel.
Furthermore, Nabiel also shared information that his mother had been fighting breast cancer for the past two years. During the treatment period, Yunita underwent several medical procedures. “Yes, mom has been fighting breast cancer for the last two years. She has undergone chemotherapy and surgery as well, but God has His own plan,” said Nabiel.
