"Yes, he had been sick for several years, but he kept fighting. We, as a family, are grateful and have accepted it," Chua said when met at Al Makmur Cemetery, Ciganjur, South Jakarta, on Sunday (2/6).
"There were many complications, including cancer, lung spots, and a tumor," added the mother of two.
In addition, the father of Firmansyah Mahidin Putra, Chua's husband, has also undergone chemotherapy. Finally, Chua's father-in-law took his last breath and has now been buried.
"He had undergone chemo several times," Chua concluded.
"Last time, he has been in and out of the hospital, but the last time was two weeks before he passed away. Two weeks in Siloam," Chua added.
The late father-in-law, according to Chua, suffered from various diseases. That's why the family knows well about his struggle all this time.
"It's all because we already know his fight against his complicated illness, and now he's finally at peace. It's also heartbreaking to see him," Chua said.
Chua said that his father-in-law has been sick since the spread of Covid-19, and when examined, it was already quite severe. The real name owner, Swasti Sabdastantri, also mentioned the diseases suffered by his father-in-law.
"Since Covid, well since Covid, because he was examined, it was found out that the disease has reached an advanced stage, so his condition has been fluctuating since Covid, and then it reached its peak yesterday," Chua explained.
"It's already a lot of complications, there's cancer and also lung spots, there's also a tumor," the mother of two children continued.
