The viral video of Uya Kuya creating content in front of the fire scene was finally addressed by Cinta Kuya. Uya's eldest child explained what happened during the incident and mentioned that their purpose in making the video was to inform Indonesian netizens that those affected by the fire are not only wealthy people.
On the X account @loveinnta, he revealed the condition at that time. Here is his explanation.
Kuya's love finally spoke out about the video where he was reprimanded by local residents while making content in front of a fire site. He mentioned that he only wanted to show that in the Altadena area, it is not only wealthy people who are affected by the fire.
He admitted that he had asked the police for permission to take the video and was allowed to do so as long as he did not enter the area marked with yellow tape. He also mentioned that many people were watching at that time.
He said "I just wanted to ask for permission from him" but since he did not know who the owner was, he did not do that. When he was filming the video, suddenly the owner came and interrupted them while they were making the video. Americans thought they were scammers trying to 'claim' that his house was on fire.
He also argued that the video from the content creation would not be found anywhere because it had already been deleted and not uploaded, yet he was suspected of being a bad person.
Cinta then contacted the person who reprimanded her to apologize. She also apologized directly at the time of the incident and deleted her video.
Cinta even provided assistance to that person through Gofundme by showing proof of her screenshot.
But she was upset because she and her family were actually not at that person's house, but on the shoulder of the road. And she also did not record the face of the person who reprimanded her, so she felt she was not violating privacy.
In this case, Cinta also did not accept it because she felt that her and her family's privacy was violated, as the owner recorded their faces without consent and uploaded a trimmed video.
