Cinta Laura Feels Bullied Because of Her Way of Speaking, Novia Bachmid Gives Defense

Kapanlagi.com - Indonesian Idol X singer, Novia Bachmid, agrees with Cinta Laura who feels bullied by a TV news anchor. Cinta feels mocked by the host who mentions her name in a way that is considered inappropriate because it imitates her foreign accent.

Cinta Laura states that what the news anchor said to her is verbal bullying. Regardless of the news anchor's intention, it still hurts Cinta Laura's feelings. Knowing this, Novia Bachmid also gave her comment.

"It's a bit of bullying, there are various forms of bullying, those words will be remembered by her (Cinta Laura). She can't change that. We don't know what her life is like," said Novia when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, Thursday (17/12).

In addition, it seems that Novia Bachmid understands Cinta Laura who speaks with a Western accent. However, that does not mean that everyone is allowed to laugh or indirectly mock the way she speaks.

"According to me, that cannot be blamed either because since she was little, she has been in a family like that, surely she talks in a Western context," she said.

"I also have a sibling like that, so their tongue cannot be like ours. They speak English every day so they position themselves, we cannot blame them because they have been like that since they were little," she concluded.
