Feriyawansyah, Aska Ongi's attorney, added that the reality is that Aliff Alli is still married to someone else. If they want to legalize the marriage and divorce Aska, Aliff's position should be that of a widow.

"Regarding clarification, we have already provided clarification. It means that what we are discussing is in accordance with the facts and reality. They are requesting the validation of the marriage. Our client objects to the validation of the marriage because Allif is still officially registered as someone else's husband. He got married on November 28, 2011. Even if this letter is not acknowledged (by Aliff), it is impossible for the other party (Religious Affairs Office) to issue this letter," he concluded.
