Clarification from Tina Toon Regarding the Video of Her Selfie During the DPRD Meeting

Kapanlagi.com - Tina Toon has recently become the talk of the town among netizens after her video of taking a selfie during a DPRD meeting went viral. The video seems to suggest that the singer of Bolo-Bolo is not working properly and only cares about her own existence.

Not wanting to stay silent, Tina Toon spoke up about the video. Instead of getting angry, the 27-year-old woman tried to explain the actual situation in a relaxed tone.

"So on TikTok, there was a post of me taking selfies during a meeting and the caption made it seem like all I do at DPRD is take selfies," Tina Toon wrote while adding a laughing emoji to the caption of her video post.

1. Never Post Work Issues on TikTok

Tina admits that she is still actively using TikTok, but only for fun. She never uploads videos related to work on TikTok.

"Maybe because the political situation is hot right now and maybe because I am a public figure who also uses TikTok, I have been attacked a lot. And many people think I am in Senayan (DPR RI) when actually I am in Kebon Sirih guys (DPRD). If DPR RI deals with laws, DPRD deals with regional government regulations in the DKI Jakarta province," explained Tina.

2. Used to Being Bullied

Tina has actually been carrying out her duties as a representative of the people. She is even quite active in going directly to the field to hear the aspirations of the people of Jakarta. However, Tina rarely shows off her activities on social media, so many people assume that she has no work as a member of the DPRD.

"But even if being bullied is okay, what is important is that the people of Jakarta, especially Jakut (Kelapa Gading, Cilincing, Koja), feel the impact. From the past until now, especially from campaigning and elections, it is normal for controversies and other things to get more attention than achievements. But what is important is that we continue to be enthusiastic in carrying out our duties," she further explained.

Lastly, Tina explained that she does not take selfies in the middle of meetings. She feels that it is acceptable for a government official to take selfies if their task is already finished.

"Ps: that selfie or TikTok video in the DPRD is when the meeting hasn't started yet or when it's about to end or when there is no more discussion, so in my opinion, the task is already done, so taking a selfie is allowed.
