Close but Not Dating Shannon Wong, Athalla Naufal Reveals Religious Differences as a Factor

Many speculate that Athalla Naufal and Shannon Wong are dating. However, this is immediately denied by the younger brother of Verrell Bramasta.

"We are close. But if you say we are in a dating phase, not yet," said Athalla firmly when approached by the media in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/2/2022).

2. Religion as One of the Factors

Furthermore, Athalla Naufal revealed that there are several factors that prevent him from dating Shannon Wong. One of them is related to differences in beliefs.

"We haven't dated because of that, there are many factors. Both of us know, from the family as well, religion is a heavy factor," said the former boyfriend of Aisyah Aqilah.

Although they are not dating, Athalla Naufal does not deny that the relationship with Shannon Wong is so close. Shannon's family has even known Athalla.

"We often confide in each other, I often hang out with her family too. We're close but not dating," said the 22-year-old guy.

Regarding the alleged assault case experienced by Shannon Wong, Athalla Naufal admitted that he had no knowledge about it. Perhaps because he is an outsider, so he is not too involved.

"I haven't been updated because I am an outsider and this is their family matter. I hope it will be resolved quickly," Athalla prayed.

Meanwhile, Ivan Fadilla, as Athalla Naufal's father, also admitted to knowing Shannon Wong. Ivan said that the beautiful influencer is a good person.

"From what I know, Athalla is close to Shannon, I have met her several times. She is a cheerful and kind child," Ivan explained when met at the same place.
