The figure of Sheikh Ali Jaber is certainly well remembered by the Muslim community in the homeland because of his calm and peaceful preaching.

However, perhaps some people do not know that Sheikh Ali Jaber has a younger brother who is also a preacher, Sheikh Muhammad Jaber.

Sheikh Ali Jaber did decide to leave Medina for Indonesia to preach. Apparently, his younger brother followed suit.

Although both are preaching, Sheikh Muhammad Jaber actually preaches on islands and villages, sometimes in remote areas as well.

He even wanted to visit his brother after the stabbing incident of Sheikh Ali Jaber in August 2020, but was rejected by his brother who asked him to continue preaching in his place.

"He asked me to stay and focus on preaching, he said to me that the people need you more than they need me," wrote Sheikh Muhammad Jaber, recounting the message from his brother, Sheikh Ali Jaber.

Now, with the passing of his brother, the responsibility of preaching is handed over to Sheikh Muhammad Jaber to continue preaching and teaching the goodness of Islam to everyone.
