Boy William feels lucky to have met and talked directly with Melisha. However, he feels deep sorrow due to Melisha's passing. "I heard this news last night and I am heartbroken. One of the contestants of Indonesian Idol Special season has passed away. I am very lucky to have met and talked with her. She has a very good voice! My heart is with Melisha and her family. God bless you. Rest in peace," Boy wrote on his Instagram story on 9/12/2020.
Although no longer the host of Indonesian Idol, it turns out Daniel Mananta knew Melisha since 2014-2015 in Indonesian Idol Junior Season One, where Melisha and her twin sister Melitha were also contestants. As one of the judges in this event, Anang Hermansyah expresses deep condolences for the passing of Melisha Sidabutar. The man from East Java continues the official Instagram post of Indonesian Idol and mentions that Melisha is an unforgettable figure. “A beautiful soul is never forgotten. The Indonesian Idol family mourns the passing of 'Melisha Sidabutar' Contestant Top 35 #IndonesianIdolSpecialSeason Rest in Peace Melisha. indonesianidolid,” said Anang.
Judika remembers when he duetted with Melisha singing a Batak song during the audition. “RIP @melishasidabutar. We once sang the Batak song Ujuningolu together with Melisha during the audition. May she rest in peace and may @melithatricia and the extended family be given strength, patience, and comfort from GOD,” he said through his Instagram @jud1ka.
Like Anang, Ari Lasso also continued his condolences post from Indonesian Idol. The difference is, the man with his characteristic long hair style, reminisces the beautiful voice of Melisha in his post. "Her beautiful voice and beautiful soul cannot be forgotten. Rest in peace Melisha," he said on his personal account @ari_lasso.
In a post with the short caption "Rest in peace dear Melisha," Rossa included two photos of Melisha and accompanied it with a crying emoticon at the end of the caption on her personal Instagram account @itsrossa910.
Al, El, and Dul's mother, who is also a judge on Indonesian Idol, also feels sad about Melisha's passing. Although she is no longer with us, Maia promised to remember Melisha. "RIP @melishapricilla.
