As a result, Ashanty decided to close the comment section on her personal Instagram account. She surely provided an explanation regarding her action.
"No, we closed the comment section because there was Chill Go, a brand, I posted something and it was written there, it didn't feel right to me. So I turned it off," Ashanty explained when contacted by the media via phone call on Wednesday (12/6).
Ashanty also explained that before the incident, she did not disable the comment section on her Instagram. However, other posts were affected because many netizens flooded her Instagram comments.
"But before that, I didn't turn anything off. So they bullied me in a photo that I posted (not at GBK), I didn't turn it off," she said.
"Why should I turn it off, because if we say we don't feel guilty, we are not allowed to do that. Maybe we should be more careful in choosing what we take," she continued.
In addition, Anang Hermansyah's wife also mentioned her action after the Indonesia vs. Philippines match at GBK. She admitted that her action was known for sure by Ashanty as a layperson who just understood football culture.
"Secondly, even though we were briefed, we still have to learn about football culture, because when we watch football on TV, we never see celebrations being included," she explained.
"That's why I never watch it, so if I'm asked to understand, I really don't understand," she concluded.
