Kapanlagi.com - Sad news once again greets the entertainment stage in the homeland. Comedian Edy Suwandi, or better known by his stage name Edy Oglek, breathed his last breath on Monday afternoon today (28/6/2021).
The news was first known to the public from Derry Sudarisman's Instagram post. When confirmed with the manager, it was confirmed that Edy passed away after being exposed to the Covid-19 virus.
"Last tested positive... Maybe (passed away due to) his underlying illness," said Femmy, Edy's manager, when contacted by the media via WhatsApp message.

The body of Edy Oglek will be buried on Tuesday morning (29/6/2021) at around eight o'clock in TPU Buaran, East Jakarta. The burial process will follow strict health protocols.
"The burial will take place tomorrow morning. Approximately at eight o'clock. It is planned to be buried according to health protocol," explained Femmy.
Edy Oglek, who started his career in lenong and theater, took his last breath at the age of 54 after a week of self-isolation. His name became more well-known after being involved in the soap opera Tukang Bubur Naik Haji, playing the character Kadrun.
