Condition is Declining, Legal Counsel Hopes Jennifer Jill to be Rehabilitated

Kapanlagi.com - The wife of actor Ajun Perwira, Jennifer Jill alias Jennifer Ipel is undergoing another trial for drug abuse at the West Jakarta District Court, Monday (19/7/2021). This time, the examination of Jennifer Ipel is on the agenda.

"So, the agenda for today is the examination of Ms. JJ, as explained earlier. The item in question is an old item. So, after her rehabilitation in 2017, 2018, she did not use it for about 3 years. This proves that she has a strong desire to rehabilitate herself," said Jennifer Ipel's legal counsel, Sahala Siahaan, after the trial on Monday (19/7/2021).

"The problem that has been going on in Lido suddenly stopped. It has also been explained that it has had an impact on her, both mentally and physically, because there are no rehabilitation facilities in the police detention center," he continued.

1. Once Underwent Rehabilitation

Jennifer had undergone a rehabilitation period at BNN Lido, but it was interrupted. Now, Jennifer Ipel has to stay in the Metro Jaya Regional Police Detention Center. Therefore, Sahala Siahaan asks his client to be able to undergo rehabilitation again.

"Yes, it is her hope and I think everyone's, someone who has a drug problem should undergo rehabilitation. That is the best way. That is her and our hope for JJ," he said.

According to Sahala Siahaan, during her detention, Jennifer Ipel's health has worsened.

"Well, her condition is not improving. She hopes to continue rehabilitation to recover her health and addiction. That is her hope. There is an addictive substance problem, but the severity of it, she is trying to fight. That is why the only way is rehabilitation. That is the best for her," he said.

2. Give the Best Decision

Furthermore, Sahala hopes that the judge can give the best decision for his client. Considering that Jennifer also needs a rehabilitation process. The next hearing will be held on July 26, which will include the reading of the charges by the Public Prosecutor.

"Prosecution from the prosecutor. From the prosecutor, we have a new plea and a new verdict. As legal counsel, both I and JJ certainly hope that justice for him is to be rehabilitated," he concluded.
