Jessica was arrested by BNNP Bali along with one male colleague who is a businessman from Bali on Friday, July 9, 2021.

Both were arrested at a villa in the Kuta area after allegedly committing drug abuse crimes.

From the search, evidence was found in the form of 2.95 grams of methamphetamine, one plastic bag containing three pills weighing 1.05 grams, and one clip bag of methamphetamine weighing 1.78 grams, making a total of 4.78 grams of evidence.

"When asked, DS and JF admitted that they did indeed use drugs in the form of methamphetamine and ecstasy as found by the officers," said the Head of the Bali National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), Brigadier General Pol Gede Sugianyar Putra, as quoted by Intipseleb.

In addition, the Bali National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) also seized one bong, eight used glass pipes, one gas lighter, and two mobile phones from the villa.

"I emphasize that one of them admitted to being a manager at a night entertainment venue. Lxxy Manager in Kuta is quite famous and one of them admitted to being a celebrity on Instagram who also sells skincare products online," he said.

"Including what we are currently observing which involves nightclub managers. The results of this investigation indicate that there are indications of usage and circulation of drugs in the nightclub," he added.

Due to this case, Jessica can be charged under Article 112 paragraph (1) and/or Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.
