Confirming Having Been Positive for Covid-19, Doddy Sudrajat Reveals the Reason for Holding a 100-Day Tahlilan for Vanessa Angel at the Orphanage

Kapanlagi.com - Doddy Sudrajat decided to hold an event to commemorate the 100th day since the passing of Vanessa Angel by conducting a joint prayer at an orphanage in Bekasi, West Java.

However, in the event, Doddy Sudrajat was seen alone, without his wife, Puput Soedrajat, and Vanessa Angel's siblings, Chika and Mayang.

"Actually, we wanted to hold the 100th day event within the family, but considering that everyone is still sick, including my older brother who tested positive, and some others who are ill," said Doddy Sudrajat when met in Bekasi, West Java, on Sunday (13/2).

"Chika and Mayang are also still sick and haven't fully recovered, so our family will pray separately from home," added Doddy Sudrajat.

1. Exposed to Covid

According to Doddy Sudrajat, his family was exposed to the Covid-19 virus and had to undergo self-isolation. After testing negative, his child's condition dropped again due to fatigue from work.

"Actually, they were positive for a while, isolated for 7 days, then tested negative again because Mayang-Chika had to undergo PCR testing for an event at one of the TV stations, and then they came back home and got exhausted again, both Chika and Mayang," he said.

2. Reason for Holding it at Yayasan Yatim Piatu

One of the choices of orphanages in the Bekasi area. Doddy Sudrajat revealed that the reason is because the late Vanessa Angel often donated to that place during her lifetime.  

"I am holding the event here because Vanessa used to donate a portion of her fortune here, she often donated here (Vanessa) but it was never exposed," he said.

3. Plan to Relocate the Grave

On the same occasion, Doddy revealed plans to relocate the grave of the late Vanessa Angel, which is still being rejected by the community. There are many people who oppose the decision to separate Vanessa Angel's grave, which is currently next to her husband, Bibi Ardiansyah.

As a father, Doddy responds to the issue calmly and emphasizes that the decision to move his child's grave has been discussed with the extended family.

4. Family Matters

"The grave issue is a family matter. Our extended family and the extended family of Vanessa's late mother," said Doddy Sudrajat when met in Bekasi, West Java, on Sunday (13/2).

"So let's not politicize this, let's not make it bad news," added Doddy Sudrajat.

5. Hoping Not to Stir Up Trouble

Doddy hopes that the plan to move the late Vanessa Angel's grave will not cause uproar in society. He also apologizes for the commotion that has arisen.

"Basically, Daddy doesn't want to engage in polemics about the grave. Daddy apologizes, let's not make a fuss," he said.
