CPNS Fraud Case Files Declared P-21, Olivia Nathania's Legal Counsel: Detention Period is Appropriate

Kapanlagi.com - The case files of the alleged fraud case disguised as CPNS recruitment involving Nia Daniaty's daughter, Olivia Nathania, have been declared complete by the prosecutor's office.

The Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) announced that the case files of the alleged CPNS fraud involving Olivia Nathania as the suspect have been declared complete, also known as P-21.

"The general criminal case against the suspect Olivia Nathania has been declared complete or P-21," said Ashari Syam in his statement on Thursday (6/1/2021).

1. Detention Period Has Been Appropriate

Furthermore, the investigators of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police have already transferred Olivia's evidence. Currently, Olivia's detention period has also been extended. Regarding this matter, Olivia's legal representative, Susanti Agustina, spoke out about the detention.

"According to us as Olivia's legal representative, the detention period for the purpose of investigation, particularly from the police, being transferred to the prosecutor's office or public prosecutor, has been appropriate," said Susanti when contacted by reporters on Thursday (5/1/2022).

2. Extension of Detention Period

Susanti stated that the procedure has been carried out properly. In fact, Susanti also believes that the extension of the detention period has been appropriate.

"Because Olivia's detention period has already reached 20 days + 40 days in accordance with Article 24 paragraph (1) & paragraph (2) of the Criminal Procedure Code. Today is the exact day for Olivia's transfer to the prosecutor's office," said Susanti.

3. Hoping for a Trial Soon

As the legal counsel, Susanti hopes that the legal process for her client will proceed and be tried soon.

"For Olivia's case, we hope that it will be tried soon as the legal counsel for Olivia Nathania," she concluded.

4. Olivia Nathania's Violation

For her actions, Olivia Nathania is accused of violating Article 263 Paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code OR Article 378 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 65 (1) of the Criminal Code OR Article 372 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 65 (1) of the Criminal Code.
