Crying Farewell from Opera Van Java, Azis Gagap Reveals the Reason He Left

Kapanlagi.com - Surprising news comes from comedian Azis Gagap who decided to bid farewell from the show Opera Van Java (OVJ) that has made his name. He announced it directly during the OVJ show on Tuesday (31/3) night.

While crying, Azis Gagap revealed his reason for leaving OVJ in front of his colleagues such as Parto, Denny Cagur, Rina Nose, Mpok Alpa, and others.

"Actually, it's difficult for me to express this. There are things that Azis can't say or tell. It's only for myself. Actually, Azis wanted to quit 8 months ago. I asked for opinions, they said not to quit, bro. Especially since I've known my friends for a long time, they're like family," said Azis Gagap.

1. Want to Focus on Managing the Islamic Boarding School

Meanwhile, Aziz Gagap revealed his reason for leaving OVJ (a comedy show) because he wants to focus on managing his Islamic boarding school. Previously, he always asked for guidance from Allah SWT whether this is the best decision.

"I've been thinking about it for almost a week. Every night, I ask Allah for guidance. If I have to manage the boarding school, then Azis will manage it. But I also have to consider the economy aspect. But Azis has faith that the children in the boarding school and the employees will surely have sustenance. Honestly, this is challenging. But hopefully, this is the best decision," he said.

2. Apologies

Aziz Gagap apologized if there have been any mistakes. However, it is not impossible that one day he will return to the world of comedy.

"But this is not a final decision, Azis still asks 'O Allah, give me good guidance for Azis' future'. If Allah permits Azis to return to the world of comedy, then Azis will pursue it. If not, if there are words or actions that are not pleasing, please forgive me," said Azis Gagap.

"Honestly, Azis wants to entertain everyone. If there are mistakes, please forgive me. Thank you. Today, I made the final decision in OVJ. Hopefully, tonight is not the last, maybe there will still be tapping tomorrow," he concluded.
