Custody Falls into the Hands of Sherrin Tharia, Zumi Zola Must Cover the Monthly Needs of Their Child

Kapanlagi.com - Zumi Zola is being sued for divorce by his wife, Sherrin Tharia, at the South Jakarta Religious Court since March 2020. Today, Wednesday (1/7), the second hearing was held with a mediation agenda.

Neither Zumi Zola nor Sherrin attended the hearing, both were represented by their respective lawyers. When met at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Kadi, as a non-judge mediator, stated that the mediation between the two parties went smoothly.

"It went smoothly because the lawyers of both parties had prepared everything. So, it's just a matter of reaching a final conclusion. The bottom line is that the agreement between the two parties has been reached," said Kadi.

1. Agreeing on Child Custody

Kadi also stated that in the mediation, Zumi Zola and Sherin Tharia have agreed on the matter of child custody. The custody falls to Sherrin, while Zumi is responsible for financially supporting their child on a monthly basis.

"It's already clear for that, we just have to wait for the decision. Because it has been agreed that the child will be taken care of by the mother and the expenses will be covered by the father. That's the content of the mediation," he said.

2. Not Discussing Marital Assets

However, Kadi also mentioned that during the mediation session, Sherrin only requested child custody and child expenses without addressing the issue of marital assets.

"There was no discussion about marital assets, only about the child," he said.
