Cut Intan Nabila Files for Divorce from Armor Toreador, Following the Viral Domestic Violence Case

Kapanlagi.com - Influencer and former fencing athlete, Cut Intan Nabila, has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Armor Toreador. The lawsuit was registered at the Tigaraksa Religious Court in Tangerang, Banten.

This decision was made after Intan became a victim of domestic violence (KDRT) perpetrated by Armor, who is now a suspect and detained. Cut Intan's attorney, Ana Sofa Yuking, confirmed that her client's divorce petition has officially entered the court.

"Alhamdulillah it has (entered the divorce petition for Intan)," said Ana via text message on Monday (12/9/2024).

The first divorce hearing for Cut Intan and Armor is scheduled to take place on Monday next week, December 16, 2024. Ana confirmed that Intan will attend the hearing.

1. Threat of 5 Years Imprisonment

"God willing, next Monday will be the first hearing. God willing (Cut Intan) will be present," she stated.

This divorce lawsuit is a step taken by Cut Intan after experiencing physical violence from Armor. The domestic violence case went viral after Intan uploaded a video of the violence to social media.

The video showed the sad condition experienced by the mother of three children, garnering sympathy from the public. The domestic violence case involving Armor has now entered the legal process.

Armor has been charged under Article 44 paragraph (2) of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning physical violence in the household. In addition, he is also charged under Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning assault, with a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Ana Sofa Yuking explained that Cut Intan's decision to file for divorce is an effort to protect herself and her children from ongoing threats. This divorce journey has become a focal point, considering Cut Intan is a public figure with many followers on social media.
