Tantri Syalindri Ichlasari, better known as Tantri Kotak, finally spoke out regarding the alleged investment fraud that befell her. Together with her husband, Arda Hatna, the vocalist of Kotak finally spoke out when met in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (27/6) to explain the chronology of the case that dragged many victims.

On this occasion, Tantri emphasized that she was present not as a public figure, but as someone who feels aggrieved. She admitted that she was initially reluctant to reveal this issue to the public because she has always felt more comfortable talking about her musical works. However, she chose to speak out to prevent other victims from experiencing a similar fate.

"I actually really don’t want to talk about things that are not related to my work. But if I don’t talk about it, there’s a high possibility that there will be many more subsequent victims," said Tantri.

For approximately a year, the investment went smoothly, so the victims did not suspect anything. Tantri even admitted to having received fund disbursements several times, which made her more confident to reinvest her money. Suspicion only arose when the disbursement process began to experience delays.

Nevertheless, Tantri still tried to think positively until the person in question disappeared after receiving the last transfer on June 19. Various social media accounts were reported to have been deleted, and communication was cut off."I still want to think positively. But when there’s no news at all for one full day, and then two full days with no news at all," she revealed.

Tantri admitted that she had tried to find the whereabouts of her friend through family and the help of netizens. From that search process, she actually learned that there were other alleged victims who claimed to have experienced a similar pattern for several years with a different scheme.

This situation has a significant psychological impact. Arda revealed that his wife experienced mental pressure to the point of choosing to calm herself before finally being ready to speak to the public.According to him, the losses due to the fraud are not only measured by the amount of money lost but also by the loss of trust in others.

Tantri also acknowledged that the trauma she feels has not gone away until now. She mentioned that she still finds it hard to accept the reality that the trust built over many years ended with allegations of betrayal. "Well, it sounds muffled, right? I mean, of course. Our psychology is definitely disturbed. Even to this moment, I still can't believe it, how could he be so cruel," she said.

Currently, Tantri along with other victims are still formulating legal steps together. She hopes that this case can find clarity and serve as a lesson for the public to be more cautious before entrusting investment funds to anyone, including those who are well-known.
