Decide to Separate Amicably, Edison Wardhana Affirms No Domestic Violence in His Marriage

Kapanlagi.com - Demian's stuntman, Edison Wardhana is currently going through the process of divorcing his wife, Ayuh Dyah Utami. The man who previously experienced a fatal accident while performing on stage is allegedly involved in domestic violence against his wife.

Today, Tuesday (23/6), both of them were present at the West Jakarta District Court to begin their first divorce hearing. Unfortunately, due to several reasons, the scheduled mediation for today had to be postponed.

"The hearing went smoothly earlier, but the mediation didn't happen because the mediator judge was not available. So we postponed it until June 30," said Edison when met at the West Jakarta District Court on Monday (22/6).

1. Emphasize No Domestic Violence

When asked about the domestic violence that occurred, Edison denied it. According to him, he and Ayuh had agreed to separate, but in a peaceful manner. Their focus is on the children.

"Basically, the real story is not like that (domestic violence). But the point is, we, me and Ayu, are already focused on the children. We are putting all our energy into the children. As for domestic violence, please, it doesn't exist. I deny it, there is no such thing as domestic violence," Edison firmly replied.

"The bottom line is there is no domestic violence. It's normal for husband and wife to have arguments. And Ayu and Edison have made peace, have forgiven each other. And in the end, they will separate amicably in the West Jakarta Court," added Michael R. Pardede, Edison's lawyer.

2. Sad to Separate

Although sad and difficult to separate, Edison does not want to force their relationship anymore. According to him, what is most important now is to focus on moving on and together, thinking about the future of the children.

"Actually, it's very sad, really sad. So we take the best path. In a marriage, there are always ups and downs. We tried to fix it but there was no solution, so we take the best path. The children shouldn't become victims, even though indirectly they will be affected. But now, we will always be there for the children in the future. Always striving to be the best parents," Edison concluded.
