Della Puspita Reveals the Modus Operandi of Alleged Umrah Fund Fraud by Her Associate

Kapanlagi.com - The case of alleged fraud and embezzlement of umrah funds involving Prashya Asmarandana alias Aca Prayogi is heating up. Della Puspita, as one of the victims, officially reported this case to Polda Metro Jaya on Thursday (20/2/2025).

Della decided to take legal action after seeing no good faith from Aca to resolve this issue. She expressed her disappointment towards Aca, who is also her friend.

"The development of the case is due to the lack of good faith shown by Aca. I’ll just say it directly. So today I am reporting my own friend," Della told the media.

In the report, Della cited allegations of fraud and embezzlement of umrah funds as the legal basis. She explained that this case not only harms her but also has a significant impact on other umrah pilgrims.

1. Domino Effect

"With allegations of fraud and embezzlement of umrah funds. The person I reported is named Prashya Asmarandana alias Aca Prayogi," said Della.

According to Della, one of the forms of loss experienced is the domino effect from this case. She has to compensate other pilgrims because she feels responsible as the person who introduced Aca to them.

"Initially, the amount mentioned was around Rp 390 million. Then it has been paid in installments of Rp 125 million, so the remaining amount is around Rp 200 million. Now that is being passed on to me, because the friends who participated in the umrah do not want to know," said Della.

Della also submitted strong evidence to the police. The evidence includes a fund transfer of Rp 48 million, conversations with Aca, and several guarantees that turned out to be inconsistent with what was promised.

2. New Problems

"Then if there is a transfer proof, and also chat proof. Then the other evidence, like the rental car that was given to us, actually makes the ticket more of a hassle for me," added Della.

One form of guarantee provided by Aca was a rental car. However, this guarantee actually caused new problems because the car belonged to someone else. This made Della feel even more disadvantaged.

"Because, as I mentioned before, I was given a car as a guarantee, but the car that was guaranteed to me, which he said I could sell, turned out to be a car he rented from someone, so it adds more problems for me," explained Della.

Before filing a report, Della tried to communicate with Aca to resolve this issue amicably. However, the messages sent did not receive a response, leading her to decide to report to the police.

"I also sent that chat to him, saying that today I will report to the police. At 2 PM on this Thursday, it was not responded to," concluded Della.
