Denada Has Not Communicated with Ressa Rossano After Acknowledging Her as a Child

Amid the controversy regarding Denada's acknowledgment of Ressa Rizky Rossano as her biological child, communication between the two is said to have not yet occurred until now. This was revealed by Ressa and her lawyer, Ronald, when they were met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/3/2026).

Ressa admitted that she is still waiting for communication from Denada's side after the acknowledgment video was uploaded to the public. Until now, she stated that there has been no direct conversation between her and her mother.

"The point is Ressa is waiting. Until Mother opens communication," said Ressa.

When asked if she had tried to contact first, Ressa admitted she had not. She mentioned that she would reach out at another time. "Later, okay? Later Ressa will contact," she said.

Nevertheless, Ressa expressed gratitude that Denada has acknowledged her on social media. However, for her, that acknowledgment is not enough without a face-to-face meeting."Alhamdulillah, I’m happy. But Ressa also wants to meet. The point is just to meet," she said.

Ressa's attorney, Ronald, also responded to the situation. He believes that his client is still confused emotionally and needs certainty from her biological mother. Ronald stated that he understands Ressa's psychological condition as he has been involved in caring for and supporting her for a long time.

According to Ronald, the desire to meet is actually wide open considering Ressa is still in Jakarta. He believes Denada could easily know Ressa's whereabouts if there is indeed a good intention to meet."If you have good intentions, then come. Ressa is still in Jakarta," said Ronald.

Ronald also expressed his concerns if they have to visit Denada again. He mentioned a previous experience when Ressa was said to have waited for hours without certainty of meeting.

"We want to go there but are afraid. Afraid of not having the door opened, being told to stand on the sidewalk waiting for 3 and a half hours. That too has been for 2 consecutive days," he revealed.

In addition, Ronald also mentioned the statement of Denada's younger brother named Enrico or Rico, which was said to be one of the triggers for legal action. He claimed that the statement was dismissive of the issues faced by Ressa.This situation made Ressa choose to wait for direct communication from Denada, while hoping for a meeting that could clarify the relationship between mother and child.
