"Ka Abi is currently studying at a Boarding School at SMA Presiden2, that school is indeed semi-military. So the first three months we couldn't meet our child because it was for character building," said Denny Cagur during the Obrolan Tiap Waktu show on Trans 7, on Sunday (1/12/2024).
In the interview, Denny recounted that while writing a letter to Abi, he couldn't hold back his tears.
"Yes, I sent a letter because that's the way it is, so he sends a letter to us if there are any clothing shortages or something. Then he said 'mom and dad, please write a letter for Abi to ease the longing' in the end, I wrote that letter," he concluded.
"In the letter, I told Ka Abi that boys shouldn't cry easily, but it turns out this doesn't apply to me. I told him that I cried while writing that letter to him because I really miss him," said Denny Cagur.
Denny shared that his son is much more independent now. He can come home once a month.
Denny and his wife fully support Fabian's decision to continue his education in such a challenging environment, hoping that this experience can shape a better future for their child.
