Depression, the Reason Karenina Maria Anderson Uses Marijuana Narcotics

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Karenina Maria Anderson was apprehended by the police on Monday, July 31, 2023 at her home on Daksa Street, South Jakarta, regarding allegations of marijuana narcotics abuse. Inside her house, the police managed to secure a pack of Marlboro cigarettes containing one pack of marijuana narcotics weighing 4.1 grams and one marijuana joint weighing 0.3 grams.

During the interrogation, Karenina revealed the reasons why she fell into using marijuana narcotics. "According to K's confession, she has depression and insomnia, she admitted it," said South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit Chief, Kompol Achmad Ardhy, on Wednesday (8/2/2023).

Ardhy said that the arrest of the SKANDAL 2 film star was due to a report from the public. Eventually, the police investigated and made the arrest.

"Based on a report from the public on Sunday, July 30, reporting the misuse of marijuana by a woman with the initial K," he said.

"Afterwards, we conducted an investigation and on Monday around 10:15 PM, K was arrested at her house," Ardhy added.

2. Prevention from the Police

With the increasing number of public figures being arrested for alleged drug abuse recently, the police continue to urge the public not to fall into the trap of drugs. Of course, to prevent similar cases in the future, whether committed by celebrities or the public.

"We have conducted comprehensive socialization. From entertainment venues, schools, to public gatherings. We prioritize prevention over repressive actions," Ardhy emphasized.

"We have conducted education in various places and we will not stop prevention efforts. Prevention is number one, better," he concluded.
