Diding Boneng Reveals How He Developed Asthma, Often Relapses

A district officer who happened to be at the location immediately reported the situation of Diding Boneng to the local authorities. It didn't take long for a medical team to be dispatched directly to the actor's residence to provide first aid so that his condition would not worsen.

"I have actually been sick for three years, not just recently. Especially with events like this, my house (was renovated). Well, yesterday when I was interviewed by someone, from where was it, my shortness of breath came up, it just came like that, it relapsed. I relapsed, so I was a bit disturbed during the interview," said Diding Boneng when met in the Menteng Dalam area, Central Jakarta, Sunday (4/12/2025).

"Immediately the one who was reported, whether the sub-district head or his representative, went straight to the district doctor's team. Five doctors came here, to the house. Yes, I was indeed in that condition. Finally, everything was examined, and I was given medication. At that time, I recovered from that illness," explained Diding.

Although receiving medical assistance, Diding emphasized that the treatment was not like a typical hospital procedure. He wants the public to understand that the assistance was an emergency response to the sudden relapse he experienced at his home.

"So if it was said yesterday that I was undergoing treatment, yes, that's true but not like that. Don't imagine me entering some room like a doctor or something, it's not like that. That's the form of treatment, and I felt a reaction of improvement. Until now, I can't speak like this if it were yesterday," he said again.

This 76-year-old actor is now required to maintain his emotional condition. The doctor advised him to avoid stress and anger that could trigger the return of shortness of breath symptoms. A calm mind is the key to Diding Boneng's health recovery.
