Dinar Candy Asks Her Father to Forgive Her for Often Exposing Her Body by Dressing Openly

Dinar admitted to often explaining to her father that her sexy appearance is solely due to the demands of the situation.

"Even though my clothes may be a bit mini, I just told him that's how it is, but I can still maintain my dignity and honor. Because when touring as a DJ abroad, from a cultural perspective in our country, (seeing it) could be like 'what is Dinar doing?' It could shock (my dad)," she said.

2. Not Clearly Visible on Stage

She also explained to her father that her appearance is only meant to enhance her skills as a DJ and to be attractive while performing. Besides, Dinar said, the clothes she wears are not clearly visible to the audience.

"On stage, it's our musicality and attractiveness that are seen. Plus, the audience is sometimes far away, so they can't see our true appearance. So it's more about our musicality," she said.

Dinar's father, Acep Ginayah Sobri, who was beside her, said that the most important thing for him is that Dinar can adjust her dress style on stage and offstage.

"As long as she doesn't wear revealing clothes when she comes home, it's fine," he said.

Dinar Candy often attracts attention for being perceived as too sexy. Netizens deem it inappropriate because her father is said to be an Islamic preacher in their hometown.
