Going on an adventure together like climbing a mountain certainly requires Dinda Hauw and Rey Mbayang to leave their children for a few days. Many are wondering how the children react when their parents go away, and whether they miss them.

Dinda Hauw admitted that the feeling of missing and thinking about the children is always present when they are traveling together. In fact, she and Rey have already planned to start taking their children to climb mountains with easier trails.

"Of course, we definitely think about them a lot. And we actually want to take the kids to try shorter and easier climbs first. For example, like Prau or..." Dinda revealed when met in Kemang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (28/10/2025).

According to him, the children are not really aware of their parents' departure because they are always left with their grandparents.

"Actually, it seems like they don’t really notice, because when we leave, they are always left with their grandparents," explained Dinda.

Their children seem to have their own world and really enjoy the time spent with their grandma and grandpa. This makes them temporarily forget about the presence of their parents.

"So they have their own fun when they are with their grandma and grandpa, and with their mom and dad, it’s like, what can I say, it’s like they forget about us too," she said while laughing.

Although it sounds funny, this condition actually makes them feel calm and safe when they have to leave their children for a while.

Dinda and Rey can enjoy "quality time" together without excessive worries.

"But we also feel a sense of safety. We feel safe leaving the kids like that. We miss them, but they probably don’t even remember," Dinda concluded.
