Behind the happy news of her second pregnancy, Zaskia Sungkar actually delayed Irwansyah's desire to start the second child program immediately. The delay was not without reason, as Zaskia admitted that her hobby in horseback riding became one of the main factors.

Her love for the sport made her hesitant to immediately undergo the pregnancy program. However, in the end, the couple is seriously planning for the arrival of their second child.

Irwansyah was the first to want a second child since a year ago. However, at that time, Zaskia still had many other agendas.

"Actually, no, how should I say it. Well, there are just so many things, work, and then sports that make you addicted," said Zaskia Sungkar when met in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (18/9/2025).

Irwansyah then clarified that the sport he meant was horseback riding, a hobby that Zaskia has indeed been very passionate about in recent times. "Horseback riding, that is," added Irwansyah.

Zaskia admitted that her love for horseback riding and various events she has to attend has made her unconsciously keep delaying the start of the program.

"Yes, horseback riding is the one that makes you go, 'Eh, there’s this event, there’s that event,' like that. It feels like it doesn’t even feel like you’re moving backward," he explained.

The delay finally ended after Irwansyah gave a firm ultimatum to his wife to start the program next month.

"Until finally he really gave an ultimatum, 'It has to be next month.' Okay, that’s it. After that, there’s nothing more to say, we have to, bismillah, go straight to Doctor Reino," concluded Zaskia.
