Dita 'Mey Chan' Father Allegedly Dies from Covid-19, Manager Unable to Provide Confirmation

Kapanlagi.com - 2 years after the passing of her mother, this time Dita Anggraeni or better known as Mey Chan is left by her father forever. The sad news was announced by Dita herself through her IG Story post, today, Thursday (17/9).

Dita did not write in detail about her father's death. However, she clearly wrote the hashtag #COVIDVICTIM in her post. This immediately raised speculation that Dita's father died from being exposed to the coronavirus.

When directly contacted, it turns out that Unil, the manager, confirmed that Dita's father had indeed passed away. However, he and the management team do not know the details of his departure.

"Previously, the management team only found out yesterday that Dita's father had passed away. We tried to contact Dita, but we couldn't talk much because Dita is still in a state of mourning, still very devastated, so I haven't received any valid information about the truth. I ask for prayers from media friends for Dita's strength. If I can confirm with Dita and get valid information, I will try to convey it," said Unil, Manager of Dita 'Mey Chan' when contacted by phone on Thursday (17/9).

1. Cannot Ask in Detail Yet

Finding Dita in a very down state, Unil is reluctant to ask too many sensitive questions. Therefore, he has not received any information about the sad news.

"That's it, just got the information yesterday, yesterday (the passing), but I still haven't received valid information about what time he passed away, because he is still very grieving, still very devastated, I can't ask for more details," he added.

2. Dita Goes Straight to Malang

Dita herself, through another post, showed the funeral procession of her father in Malang, her hometown. The former duet partner of Maia Estianty could only watch her father being buried from a distance due to Covid-19 protocols.

"It happened that Dita went straight to Malang. I myself haven't met Dita yet, because Sister Dita went straight to Malang. Yes (the family) is in Malang. I hope she can be stronger," Unil concluded.
