A dramatic moment occurred at Polda Metro Jaya on Friday (6/3/2026) night. Doctor Richard Lee was seen being escorted by police officers to the detention room after undergoing intensive examination. The doctor, who is usually vocal on social media, appeared lethargic and chose not to say a word to the media crew that had been waiting for him.

Before officially being detained, Dr. Richard Lee had to go through a series of standard police procedures. The Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, confirmed that the suspect had undergone a thorough health examination by the police medical team to ensure that his condition was suitable for detention.

"Before carrying out the detention, the suspect underwent a health check by the Medical and Health Division of Polda Metro Jaya, including checking blood pressure, saturation, and body temperature with normal results, and is able to carry out activities as usual," he stated in an official statement on Friday (06/03/2026).

"Before the detention was carried out, the suspect's personal belongings that were not related to the evidence collection process were entrusted to his legal counsel," explained Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto.

Investigators noted several instances of the suspect's absence from examination agendas and mandatory reporting, which is seen as obstructing the investigation process.
