Doddy Sudrajat Admits to Not Wanting to Separate But Has Never Attended the Trial, Puput Pujiarti Hopes for Divorce Verdict by Default

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce lawsuit filed by Puput Pujiarti against Doddy Sudrajat is currently ongoing at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. As of this week, the trial agenda has entered the stage of evidence and witnesses.

To the media, Irma Rachim, a friend of both parties, revealed a fact. The woman appointed as a witness from Puput's side stated that Doddy wanted to repair their marriage that was on the brink of collapse.

"Before becoming a witness, Daddy already WhatsApped me a lot. There are things that need to be conveyed. In essence, Daddy doesn't want to separate. If possible, let's make things right again. But if we have to separate, Daddy is willing," said Irma after the trial on Monday (4/4/2022).

1. Opposite Directions

Despite being mentioned by Irma Rachim as not wanting to separate, Doddy Sudrajat's actions are in fact going in the opposite direction. Since the first mediation agenda, the father of the late Vanessa Angel has not shown any goodwill to talk to his wife.

"The court has made more than three proper summons. But he did not attend," said Abdul Qodir Batubara, the legal representative, on the same occasion.

2. Puput Hopes for Default Judgment

Seeing that Doddy Sudrajat never appeared in court, Puput Pujiarti stated that she is ready if her divorce lawsuit is decided by default judgment. Default judgment is a decision taken by the judges without the presence of the defendant.

"Maybe there will be consideration from the court. Mbak Puput hopes for default judgment because Mr. Doddy never appeared," continued Abdul Qodir Batubara.

3. Timing is Not Right

Although Puput Pujiarti wants to separate, Irma Rachim hopes that there is a possibility that her friend will reunite with Doddy Sudrajat. One step is to meet outside the courtroom.

"There is an effort to meet, there is an effort for mediation but not in court, mediation face-to-face. But the timing is not right yet. It's just an effort, but not yet implemented," Irma concluded.
