Farhat Abbas Criticizes Azka VS Vicky Prasetyo Boxing Match: Illegal and a Form of Torture Against Children

Kapanlagi.com - The boxing match between Vicky Prasetyo and Deddy Corbuzier's son, Azka Corbuzier, was just held on Thursday (31/3/2022). The match was broadcast live on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. Vicky Prasetyo lost to Azka in the second round.

Apparently, the boxing match received criticism from lawyer Farhat Abbas. The former husband of Nia Daniaty considers the match between Vicky Prasetyo and Azka Corbuzier as exploitation of children.

"To the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Indonesian Sports Commission, why is there a boxing match, don't know what weight class it is. Boxing has age and weight requirements," said Farhat Abbas when met in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Saturday (2/4/2022).

"Now, this is a match between a 38-year-old man and a 15-year-old child. So, it's exploiting children. Imagine if this child had lost and then broke his neck, who would be responsible here," added Farhat Abbas.

1. Child Abuse

Not only considered exploitation, Vicky and Azka's boxing match is called child abuse. In addition, Farhat Abbas also said that Vicky Prasetyo's defeat to Azka was just pretending to lose. Therefore, the match watched by millions of people was just for fun.

"This is child abuse, because it is not fair. Even though Vicky lost, I think Vicky pretended to lose. So what is the motivation for pretending to lose? This means that the match is just for toys and fun," said Farhat Abbas.

2. Illegal

Furthermore, Farhat Abbas said that Vicky Prasetyo's boxing match against Azka Corbuzier is considered illegal. Moreover, from the match, Deddy Corbuzier as the organizer received a very large profit.

"This is an illegal match, the police should process it, and it should be stopped. Don't issue a permit for the boxing match," said Farhat Abbas.

3. Return the Audience's Money

The 45-year-old man then suggested that the organizers return the profits to the audience. He also mentioned that if this match happened overseas, the police could detain the father.

"Yes, the profit is what we consider illegal. Just return the audience's money, it's not right to have a 15-year-old child fight against an adult. If this happened overseas, the father could be arrested. That's about it," concluded Farhat Abbas.
