Raffi Ahmad Introduces RansVerse, Indonesia's First Metaverse Game

Rans Entertainment has just introduced RansVerse, Indonesia's first metaverse game. This project is the result of collaboration between Rans Entertainment and three local startups, VCGamers, UpBanx, and Shinta VR.

1. Still Learning

Raffi Ahmad also said that he is still learning a lot about the metaverse. Therefore, he must collaborate with various parties.

"Yes, we are still learning and this is the era of collaboration. We also collaborate to make RansVerse. So this is the era of collaboration, we collaborate as much as possible, as widely as possible," said Raffi Ahmad during the launch of RansVerse at Ayana Midplaza, Sudirman, Central Jakarta, on Friday (1/4).

"Basically, we still want to learn and the journey is still long. We have to penetrate space and time and adapt to the development of the era. Like now suddenly there is RansVerse, yes, this is the era of online, digital, conventional, real and unreal. But all forms of business that we have to learn together," he continued.

2. Trying to Create a Current

Kaesang Pangarep, as a commissioner of Rans Entertainment, also strongly supports this RansVerse project. Because he sees Rans Entertainment always developing and adapting to various new fields.

“I also see that Rans Entertainment is always developing and they are always adaptive, like they see the metaverse also entering but not just entering, meaning they really create their ecosystem where they will always update every year,” said Kaesang Pangarep.

3. Never Follow the Current

Raffi Ahmad also said that he has never followed the existing current but always tried to create a new one.

“That's why our fundamentals must be strong and we never follow the current but try to create a new one,” continued Raffi Ahmad.

4. Explanation About RansVerse

Meanwhile, to develop this metaverse business, Raffi Ahmad collaborated with a young figure who is not unfamiliar in the digital world, Wafa Taftazani. He is the Founder & CEO of UpBanx, Co-Founder & Chairman of VCGamers, and also as Co-Founder & Chief Commissioner of ModalRakyat.

Wafa Taftazani also explained that RansVerse not only offers a virtual world but also has economic value. Everyone can display and sell their work in RansVerse.

“This is the first time in Indonesia that Rans introduces a metaverse game mode that uses blockchain and uses NFTs to generate economic value in it. People can buy land, work, be productive, and job opportunities are created there,” explained Wafa Taftazani.

5. Game Will Continue to Develop

In its initial launch, RansVerse was originally an R-shaped island consisting of several plots of land that could be purchased by the public globally. The island can be inhabited by various groups ranging from creators, artists, and brands who can also sell their work.

“RansVerse itself will eventually take the form of an island with an R shape. It will consist of five parts that we call waves. The first wave that we will release will have plots of land that can be purchased by anyone in the world, not just in Indonesia. So RansVerse will operate globally,” said Wafa Taftazani.

6. Currently Available for Private Purchase

However, up to this point, the land can only be purchased privately and the purchase for the public will be announced in the middle of this year. Wafa Taftazani also said that RansVerse will continue to develop every year.

“This game development will not start now and end in five years, no. So it will continue to be developed,” she said.

7. Optimistic for Success

Although many other artists are also following the metaverse world, Wafa Taftazani is optimistic that the RansVerse project will succeed. Moreover, this is the first metaverse game in Indonesia and Raffi Ahmad is someone who always pioneers in various fields.

“Certainly, Aa Raffi is always optimistic. If asked how confident he is about success, you can see for yourself that Aa Raffi is always a pioneer. He bought a football club when no one else had thought of it. So I think if we can prove this, RansVerse will attract many people in the future,” said Wafa Taftazani.

“But Rans will establish its position as a pioneer. People will always remember us as the first to start. If there are others, they may only promote it at the beginning but there is no form yet. Our map is already live, people can already buy it. In the middle of the year, people will be able to start experiencing it,” she concluded.
