In the midst of the legal process that ensnares him, Doktif actually reveals mixed feelings regarding his rival, Dr. Richard Lee. Although both have reported each other, Doktif admits to feeling a personal burden as a fellow doctor.

Doktif appeared at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (22/01/2026) in a sick condition. However, behind his pale face, he stated that the stress he is experiencing is not solely due to his own suspect status, but also because of the heavy punishment threats looming over Richard Lee.

Richard Lee has been named a suspect for alleged violations of the Consumer Protection Law and the Health Law. This report is a consequence of Doktif's allegations regarding the inconsistency of the content or overclaim in Richard's beauty products.

"Doctor said maybe it's because I'm thinking about fellow colleagues, right? It's hard to think, why does it feel like I'm being so cruel? I reported a DRL (Richard Lee) with a threat of 12 years plus 5 years," said Doctor to the media crew.

Doctor himself is a suspect in the ITE Law case for alleged defamation. However, he feels his conscience is disturbed imagining the heavy legal consequences that his opponent might face.

"As fellow doctors, there is a sense of conscience that makes it hard to do this. That's what actually creates inner pressure for Doctor himself," he continued.

The woman known for vocally advocating skincare education emphasizes that her goal is not to imprison anyone. She just wants to fight for the rights of consumers who feel harmed by products that do not meet their claims.

"What Doktif has been doing all this time is intended only to reclaim your rights, the rights of consumers in Indonesian society. It's not solely his intention to imprison brother DRL, no," Doktif emphasized.

Furthermore, he compared the potential for detention between himself and Richard Lee. According to him, Richard Lee's position is much more critical compared to his own, which is entangled in an article with a penalty threat of less than five years.

"Yes, the potential for him to be detained is indeed very high. Meanwhile, in Doktif's current position, legally there is no possibility of detention because the article he is facing carries a penalty of under two years," he concluded.
