Actor Donny Kesuma passed away on Tuesday evening (19/3/2024). The star of the film "X: THE LAST MOMENT" died after receiving treatment in the ICU room of Primaya Bekasi Hospital due to a weak heart.
Donny Kesuma's son, Ghassan Indira Kesuma, revealed the chronology of his father's death. He said that his father's condition had improved during the treatment in the ICU room.
"Yesterday, Alhamdulillah (thank God), we received news that Papa's condition had improved significantly. The dosage of medication was reduced. However, Allah had a different plan," said Ghassan Indira at the funeral home on Tuesday (18/3/2024).
However, on Tuesday afternoon, Ghassan Indira received news that his father's condition was deteriorating. As the situation became more serious, the doctor finally prescribed the highest dosage of medicine.
"There, he was given the highest dosage of medicine and it cannot be increased anymore. So, finally, we waited for a few minutes to check his blood pressure, and it turned out to be decreasing," said Ghassan Indira.
"In the last twenty minutes, the family and the doctor agreed to perform manual heart pumping. However, after 20 minutes, my father couldn't be saved anymore," added Ghassan Indira.
In addition to administering high-dose medication, the medical team also performed a heart pumping procedure on Donny Kesuma. There, his children witnessed the procedure being carried out by the medical team.

Ghassan Indira admitted her sadness at seeing her father's worsening condition. Considering they already had other plans if their father recovered.
"Initially, we were supposed to be happy, celebrating Eid, going out, making plans, but Allah had a different fate. Yes, the situation is sad for everyone. Earlier, my older sister also apologized for any mistakes because as the eldest child, she has to take responsibility," said Ghassan Indira.
However, Donny Kesuma's children have accepted their father's departure willingly. "We have accepted it," said Ghassan Indira.
Currently, Donny Kesuma's body is being laid to rest at the funeral home in Galaxy, Bekasi. The plan is to bury Donny Kesuma at Tanah Kusir Cemetery on Wednesday (20/3/2024).
"I haven't received confirmation about the burial, but so far the plan is to bury him at Tanah Kusir Cemetery," he concluded.
