Due to Corona, 6 Melaney Ricardo's Jobs Have to be Canceled

Kapanlagi.com - Melaney Ricardo is aware of the spreading of the Corona virus in Indonesia which is getting wider. She even tries to discuss the impact of Corona to her children.

"It seems like children are doing homeschooling at school, right, if my child happens to be on vacation. Children don't understand that washing hands is important, they ask 'What is corona, why are people panicking?'. Children are confused, but I don't want to make them scared too, that's why we have to be cautious and pray," she said when met at Hotel Luminor, Central Jakarta, Thursday (12/3/2020).

1. Not Maintaining Distance

She also revealed that she does not maintain distance with fans who want to take photos. Melaney considers fans as people who love her, so she still allows them to take photos together.

"Indonesian fans are difficult because they love us, we have already greeted them with namaste and they just come and touch us, how can we forbid them? I just bring the name of God to protect us, as long as God knows my intention to make people happy. Suddenly, the fans' mothers touch my face, just imagine. Moreover, this virus is transmitted through hands, touch, and so on. So we just surrender," she added.

2. 6 Jobs Canceled

Melaney also revealed that due to Corona, 6 of her jobs had to be canceled. However, she doesn't mind the cancellations.

"There were six failed jobs, this event should have had influencers from many countries, but it was reduced in the end. So we have an event without an audience, no interaction, just like the NBA, many events were canceled so it's okay," she concluded.
