Famous presenter Dwi Andhika speaks out about his health condition, which has drastically declined over the past month. Dwi Andhika suspects that fatigue is the main trigger.

Dwi Andhika had to undergo intensive care. A busy schedule, ranging from managing his thesis, work in the entertainment industry, to preparations for a major event, has been considered a contributing factor.

"At first, I was sick. Well, that's the thing, if you try to find a scapegoat for the cause, it's confusing. Is it because of food? Is it because of overtraining? Or is it just a drop in condition?" said Dwi Andhika when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, recently.

"Because it was really overwhelming yesterday with managing my thesis, work, and also preparing for the Insert anniversary, right?" she added.

The peak of the fatigue was felt exactly one day before the big event he was preparing for. His physical condition immediately declined drastically, marking the beginning of his struggle against the illness.

"It ended up piling up all together. Coincidentally, my body was really down, and then finally, I remember the Insert anniversary on the 23rd, I got sick for the first time on the 22nd. So now it’s almost, well, it’s actually over a month plus a few days," he explained.

After undergoing a blood test, the doctor diagnosed him with typhoid fever. For two weeks, he struggled against a high fever that wouldn't subside, making him feel extremely uncomfortable and incredibly dizzy.

"Yes, at first I was treated as an outpatient, home care, with the doctor coming and then blood tests too. It stated that I had typhus. For 2 weeks I had typhus. The fever reached 39-40 degrees, which felt really awful, and I had dizziness, not just a headache," he said.

Although initially only diagnosed with typhus, Dwi Andhika's condition developed into something more serious, requiring him to undergo further treatment in the hospital.
