Early Pregnancy of Fifth Child, Zaska Adya Mecca Once Considered Aborting the Pregnancy

Kapanlagi.com - Zaskia Adya Mecca is currently pregnant with her fifth child. Currently, Zaskia's pregnancy is at 32 weeks or 8 months. And during this pregnancy with her fifth child, she and her husband, Hanung Bramantyo considered aborting the pregnancy. 

Zaskia felt unprepared for another pregnancy. Especially since her four children are still young. And she feels that having two boys and two girls is already enough

"Honestly, I wasn't ready to have a fifth child. I thought it was enough. Bhumi is already grown up. And I have given birth to 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys, I think it's already ideal," said Zaskia Adya Mecca as quoted from The Bramantyos' YouTube channel recently. 

"I never imagined that I would have another child. And suddenly Allah gave it to me. And what really made me cry is that this year, me, Hanung, Shireen, and Inu plan to go on Hajj together," she continued. 

1. Want to Terminate Pregnancy

At the beginning of the pregnancy, feeling heavy and unprepared, Zaskia considered not continuing her pregnancy. However, Hanung, as her husband, left all the decisions to her.

"At first, I thought maybe I shouldn't continue. Then Hanung even said to me, 'I'm following you because you're the one who's pregnant, you're the one who will give birth, you're the one who will breastfeed, it's up to you,'" said Zaskia.

2. Will Be Difficult to Go Through

As a husband, Hanung Bramantyo himself also thought that he couldn't help much. Moreover, with their young children, he was afraid that when Zaskia focused on the baby, their two young children would feel jealous.

"It's difficult because, you know, I'm a guy. So I just have to deal with the aftermath, deal with the unknown complications. I can't help," said Hanung.

"And tomorrow, there will be breastfeeding. Then when she breastfeeds the baby, Bhri will definitely be jealous. That's what makes it complicated," he added.
