In an interview, Elma shared how she felt a mix of happiness and anxiety as her daughter stepped into marriage.
"Yes, it is indeed time for us to let our child go, and my child is the only one, so it’s a bit of a loss, right," said Elma Theana as quoted by Insertlive.
The feeling of missing a child is definitely there, Elma asks her daughter to visit her home twice a week.
"But I ask my child to always visit me, yes, twice a week, if not, then I will go to her house," said Elma.
There is a funny story from Elma about her child who has now officially become a wife. Since it’s her first time getting married, she must be feeling surprised and homesick.
"It's just strange, this child, when she got married for the first time, she called me, 'Why isn’t mom calling me? Usually, mom always calls if I haven't come home,'" said Elma.  "Then she also once told her husband, 'I’m going home now, I’m done sleeping over.' Yes, household life has become something new and strange for her, it’s funny," she concluded.
