Having Fun on Vacation in Singapore, Doddy Sudrajat Reported to the Police by His Ex-Wife

Kapanlagi.com - Doddy Sudrajat since Thursday (15/6/2023) left Indonesia to go to Singapore to attend Dewi Perssik's concert. While enjoying his time in the neighboring country, his ex-wife, Puput accompanied by her legal counsel, visited the Integrated Police Service Center of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, on Friday night (16/6/2023).

Puput's visit was to report Doddy Sudrajat for alleged child neglect, as regulated in the Child Protection Act. Puput's report is registered in the report file with number LP/B/3453/VI/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.

"The Article that we reported is Article 76B in conjunction with Article 77B related to mistreatment and child neglect," said Khaeruddin, Puput's legal counsel after filing the police report.

As for the punishment threat from the Article, Khaeruddin said it is five years of imprisonment. "The punishment threat is five years of imprisonment and a fine of 100 million," he said.

1. Child Protection Law

Not only reporting Doddy Sudrajat with that article, Puput also uses the trap of Article 76 C juncto Article 80 of the Child Protection Law.

"Then second, Article 76C is related to psychological violence along with the threat of punishment of 3 years and 6 months and a fine of 72 million according to the Child Protection Law No. 35 of 2014. Previously, it was No. 23 of 2022," said Khaeruddin.

2. Defamation

After reporting Doddy Sudrajat with allegations of child protection crimes, Puput plans to make another police report with allegations of defamation. "Tomorrow we plan to report the defamation committed by Doddy Sudrajat," said Krisna Murti, another lawyer for Puput.

Just for information, the dispute between Doddy and Puput started when Doddy Sudrajat refused to acknowledge Aisyah, Puput's child, as his biological child. With that excuse, Doddy refused to provide support to Aisyah since divorcing Puput in 2022.
