Entering the Age of 30, Nia Ramadhani: This is the Right Time for Me to Improve Myself

Nia remained calm even though there was no party like she usually holds on her birthday. Instead, she felt that at this age, which has entered the 30s, there are many things she needs to improve in her life.

Nia revealed this today, Wednesday (22/4) through her Instagram account @ramadhaniabakrie. In a long caption, Nia expressed her feelings on her birthday this time.

1. Different Feelings

Nia feels that her birthday this time feels different from usual. The first thing that makes her feel different is leaving the number 2 in her age.

She feels that at her current age, she becomes more attentive to her life goals. And she has also thought about how to achieve them.

"Title: I used to be young, more like a child. I don't know why this year feels different from my usual birthday. First, maybe because I entered an age with a different first number. It becomes 3. So I am more aware of my purpose of life and how to achieve it," wrote Nia.

2. Taking Place Amidst the Pandemic

Taking place amidst the pandemic, Nia did not hold a party. This made Nia feel that her birthday 'feels' different other than just the changing number.

"Secondly, this year we are all in an unusual situation. It does not mean that we do not mourn what we are experiencing. And it is also not easy to see this as a disaster to face. Sad, worried, afraid, confused, everything becomes one. But then what?
I tried to see it from the other side. Why does God seem to 'force' us to have our own time away from family and friends, to be silent, far from all routines? There must be a purpose behind all of this," she continued.

3. Self-Improvement

With this condition, Nia feels that this birthday is the right time for self-improvement. She wants to find peace within herself.

"For me, this is the right time to improve myself. Looking inside, and find my inner peace. Alhamdulillah, even though it may still be far, but I am heading there. And within myself, I am reminded to also focus on doing things that have actually been the purpose of my life. #countblessings #30," she wrote.
