Even from afar, Tika Panggabean Managed to Attend Glenn Fredly's Funeral

Kapanlagi.com - The departure of Glenn Fredly forever still leaves sadness for his family and friends until now. This is also felt by Tika Panggabean who knows Glenn Fredly well.

The Project Pop member also said that she had come to Glenn Fredly's funeral on April 9th. Although she could only see from a distance because there were too many people accompanying Glenn Fredly to his final resting place.

"Yesterday I briefly went out (of the house) when I went to Glenn Fredly's funeral. Although I didn't join the entourage. So I came and just watched from a distance, (watched) the funeral procession briefly and then went home," said Tika Panggabean during an Instagram live with @cgv.id, Thursday (16/4).

1. Wanted to Come to Church

Actually, Tika Panggabean wanted to come to the church where Glenn Fredly's funeral service was held. However, because it was raining heavily at that time, she chose to go directly to the cemetery.

"So actually, the church where he had the farewell service was near my house. But it was raining heavily at that time. So I decided not to go to the church. If the rain stops, I'll just go to the cemetery. There's a live (Instagram) there. When I saw that the service was over, I went straight to the cemetery. Coincidentally, one of my church friends is a friend of Glenn's. (I asked) if they had left yet, because the service just ended," she said.

2. Meeting Glenn Fredly's Parents

Although she could only watch the funeral procession and pray from a distance, Tika Panggabean was grateful for being able to meet Glenn Fredly's parents and express her condolences.

"Turns out, when I arrived (at the cemetery), it was already quite crowded but not too crowded. So I parked in a somewhat distant place because I couldn't find a parking spot near the grave. Little did I know, an hour later, the funeral procession arrived," said Tika Panggabean.

"Fortunately, I managed to meet a car that turned out to be Glenn's parents. So I briefly greeted them from the car, and they expressed their condolences. Then during the funeral procession, I went out briefly and watched from a very far distance, just to (pray) for Glenn to rest in peace," she concluded.
