Examined for 4 Hours Regarding Husband's Case, Nindy: Pray for Me and My Family

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Nindy Ayunda responded to the investigator's summons to undergo an examination as a witness in the drug and illegal firearms possession case involving her husband, Askara Parasady Harsono, on Tuesday (19/1).

Wearing all black attire, Nindy was known to have arrived at the West Jakarta Metro Police around 13:30 WIB and left around 17:40 WIB. After undergoing an examination for approximately 4 hours, Nindy, who was bombarded with various questions, chose not to say much.

While continuing to walk with police officers on either side, Nindy admitted to receiving many questions from the investigators regarding her husband's case. "There are many (questions from the investigators)," said Nindy as she continued walking.

Regarding the case involving her husband, Nindy only asks for the best prayers for herself, her child, and her family. "Just pray for me and my family," she said.

The singer of the song Cinta Yang Baru promised to address her husband's case in the future. "I will talk about it later," she said.

2. Chronology of Nindy's Husband's Arrest

As it is known, Nindy's husband was arrested by the Narcotics Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police at his residence in Pondok Pinang area, South Jakarta, on January 7, 2021. The urine test results showed that Askara tested positive for amphetamines and methamphetamines, which are addictive substances in narcotics.

Several pieces of evidence confiscated by the officers include one pill of happy five, half a pill of happy five in a small plastic bag, a smoking device, and a firearm with 50 bullets. The suspect will be charged under Article 127 paragraph 1 letter a of the Indonesian Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 62 concerning Psychotropic Substances, with a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a fine of Rp 100 million.
