Experiencing Ramadan for the First Time Without the Presence of Her Stepdaughter, Kartika Putri Admits Feeling Very Lost

Kapanlagi.com - Kartika Putri admitted to feeling very sad because this year for the first time she is going through Ramadan without her stepdaughter, Syarifah Syahra or commonly known as Ipeh.

As is known, Kartika Putri and her husband Habib Usman bin Yahya have just sent Ipeh to Yemen for school.

“Yes, I am very sad because Ipeh is like a child, a friend, a conversation partner, a playmate, a sharing partner, everything for me. She even accompanies me to sleep,” said Kartika Putri at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (14/4).

1. An Extraordinary Loss

Kartika Putri also feels an extraordinary loss because she no longer has someone to talk to.

“She used to say 'Bun, I want this, Bun' but now during Ramadan, she's not here. The feeling of loss is extraordinary, I'm trying to persuade Habib to go there again,” said Kartika Putri.

“If there is a chance, I want to go there again and also perform Umrah,” added Habib Usman bin Yahya.

2. Missing Moments Fasting Together with Ipeh

Kartika Putri also admitted that she missed the moments with Ipeh during the fasting month. Because at home, Ipeh always prepares delicious meals for breaking the fast.

"Ipeh is diligent in cooking and making food, choosing food, ordering food, Ipeh is the one who always provides delicious food for our house, so now we are not enthusiastic about suhoor and iftar, usually she is the one who chooses the menu," concluded Kartika Putri.
