Exposed to Omicron after a Vacation from Turkey, Ashanty: Not Traumatized

Ashanty does not feel traumatized if she has to travel abroad again in the future. What is her reason?

"No, I'm not traumatized, why? Because with the trip I took last time, I brought the children to meet the extended family, we were very happy there, we could chat with the in-laws," she said when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (19/1).

"I'm so happy, before I only met Gen Halilintar to create content, I wasn't close to the kids yet, suddenly I met them again and they're already married and about to have grandchildren, so we never talked as close as yesterday, we talked for hours, exchanged ideas, gained a lot of knowledge," she added.

Therefore, even though she got infected again, Ashanty is grateful that finally after a long time her extended family met with Atta Halilintar's family.

"But it's okay, Alhamdulillah, we've met the extended family for a gathering, so it's fine," she said.

Ashanty was criticized by netizens on social media for getting infected with the Covid-19 virus again after vacationing in Turkey. Knowing this, Anang Hermansyah responded calmly.

"It's okay, that's life, so I feel like it's okay," Ashanty said when met in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, Wednesday (19/1).

3. Implementing Health Protocols

During the vacation, Ashanty and her family have implemented health protocols. Moreover, the government has never prohibited its citizens from traveling abroad, as long as they are ready to undergo quarantine upon returning to Indonesia.

"At that time, the planes were operating daily, and the country welcomed foreign nationals, even in March there was a MotoGP event here. So, I haven't been in a complete lockdown for a year, not going anywhere," she said.

4. Meeting Atta's Family

In addition, her trip abroad also had a mission to meet Atta Halilintar's extended family. Considering that it was an important moment and the first family gathering after Atta Halilintar and Aurel Hermansyah got married.

"But I just wanted to accompany the kids to meet the extended family, because they haven't met them since the wedding until now," she explained.

As someone who has been infected with Covid-19 twice and has underlying health conditions, Ashanty also doesn't want to get infected again. But fate had other plans, and she ended up getting infected again.

"I'm not asking for understanding, but I also don't actually want to get infected, no one does," she concluded.
