Returning from Vacation in Turkey, Ashanty Tests Positive for Covid-19 and Immediately Isolates at the Hospital

Kapanlagi.com - The family of Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty has just arrived in the homeland after vacationing in Turkey to spend the end of the year. Unfortunately, unpleasant news was shared by Ashanty in her IG story post this afternoon (7/1).

Ashanty admitted that she is now positive for Covid-19. The result was known from the PCR test she took upon arriving in Indonesia yesterday (6/1).

"To friends and media out there, I'm sorry I have to post this to make sure the news is correct. As soon as I arrived in Indonesia, I did a PCR test and the result is positive," wrote Ashanty in her post.

1. PCR 2 Times in Turkey

Before returning to the homeland, Ashanty mentioned that she and her entourage had undergone PCR testing twice. And at that time, the results showed that she and other family members were negative for COVID.

"I did PCR twice in Istanbul before returning. In the hotel and at the airport, the results were negative. Finally, when I arrived at the quarantine hotel, I waited for the PCR results from the airport and it turned out to be positive," explained Ashanty.

2. Quarantine in the Hospital

After finding out that her PCR result was positive, Ashanty immediately moved to the hospital for further quarantine. This was done considering that Ashanty has an autoimmune disease.

"I went straight to the hospital for quarantine in a hospital that has been approved by the COVID task force team. Because I have an autoimmune disease and for the sake of everyone's safety, I isolate myself in the hospital," said Anang Hermansyah's wife.

3. No Severe Symptoms

Although she has been quarantined in the hospital, Ashanty is grateful that she has not experienced any severe symptoms until now. However, to ensure the safety of others, she continues to undergo appropriate treatment procedures according to her condition.

"Alhamdulillah, I have not experienced any severe symptoms, but I still follow the health procedures according to my underlying illness. And to prevent spreading it to others. So, I am not self-quarantining or quarantining in a hotel, but in the hospital," she concluded.

4. Stayed at a Hotel

Yesterday (6/1), Ashanty still managed to share moments when she arrived at a luxury hotel with Anang and their two children to undergo self-isolation. She appeared healthy and enthusiastic during the room tour.

"We are returning here for quarantine, but only the four of us," Ashanty said while showing some corners of her hotel room.

To prevent further confusion about her illness, Ashanty tries to answer several questions from netizens. She also explains that her PCR test result was still negative when she was about to return from Turkey.

It is still unknown for sure about the PCR test results of other members of Anang Hermansyah's family. What is certain is that Ashanty asks for prayers so that she can recover soon and reunite with others.
